POSH-Rope made of polyester

POSH ropes are coloured polyester ropes for shibari and bondage. Their twisted structure is based on classic natural fiber ropes. At Bavarian-Bondage you'll find POSH ropes in 5.5 and 6.5 mm, in various colours and in our Exklusiv version with compact triskele knots.

Choose a single rope of 4 or 8 m or a set with 3 × 8 m or 7 × 8 m and 2 × 4 m. You can see which versions are available directly on the respective product page.

Washable, soft and low-lint: The polyester ropes can be washed and dried and do not require the finishing treatments used for natural-fibre ropes. This also makes them an interesting option for use outdoors and near water. Their consistent diameters and strong colours distinguish them from jute and hemp ropes.

Be mindful of friction: Polyester can be damaged by strong friction and the resulting heat. Avoid direct, loaded friction of rope on rope and use appropriate carabiners. Breaking load specifications are not permissible working loads and do not replace a professional assessment of the application.

POSH ropes have their own distinctive feel. They are a practical addition to natural-fibre ropes, but do not replace their scent or fibre structure.
