To make reading less boring, I'll only write the most important details and not a novel.
I'll start with myself so you know who's responsible for the website, the workshops, the products, and of course, any occasional typos.
My name is Andreas, I'm 37, and I worked in the restaurant industry for a long time. For more than 17 years, I've been involved with bondage and Shibari, sometimes more, sometimes less intensively. In fact, for the last few years, almost everything in my life has revolved around it. ^^
Addicted to the ropes!
It is precisely this passion that I want to share with you on my website! Bondage is more than just tying someone up, more than a game, more than the name bondage can even suggest!

The idea for bavarian-bondage.de originated in the summer of 2015 following a private bondage workshop. A few months later, the planning for the website began in earnest, with a blog, tutorials, workshops, and the goal of spreading the word about bondage and Shibari and conveying the joy of tying people up.
In the middle of the planning and after a disappointing rope purchase, another idea came about.

A shop that wins over its customers with individuality, creativity, and reasonable quality. A shop that stands out from the crowd with its memorable design and authenticity. True to the motto "quality over quantity," my products are mostly handmade and customizable.

You often read about the providers' references; how good the workshops are; whether the provider is actually competent; and whether it's worth participating!?
No. I have no formal training in Japan, I am not a book author, and I am not known through television reports or online videos. My credentials lie in the years of experience I have gained through numerous courses and my own initiative.
I don't see myself as a bondage artist, a Shibari master, or a teacher. No, I'm simply me, someone who enjoys sharing my knowledge and wants to show you how to work with ropes.
Whether or not participating in my workshops is worthwhile for you is something you'll have to decide for yourselves. In any case, I always try my best and to address your learning needs and goals as much as possible.

The name of my website/shop is very regionally focused, as the goal was clearly defined from the beginning: to offer workshops for people from my area.
Whether "Bavarian Bondage" is a good name for an online shop is debatable. I like it, and it will stay that way.

Who knows what the future holds? My goals are definitely to further develop the site, offer new products from time to time, write blog posts, maybe even create some bondage tutorials, and so on. Of course, not overnight, but the journey is the destination, and I'm sticking to that!
I've started regularly offering my products at trade fairs and various events to give my customers the opportunity to see them and, of course, to meet me in person if they're interested. My website regularly updates the dates and locations of my booths.

What good are the best ideas, the most beautiful design, and good intentions? Ultimately, nothing, because a website or shop only thrives on the trust of its visitors, its customers. The most important thing on the entire site is you!
