Is such a workshop necessary at all?

No, air is necessary to breathe. A workshop definitely makes sense!

I cannot write about the general public or about the individual workshop providers, because everyone has their own experiences and processes.

In this blog post I will share my views and refer to the courses I offer!

Of course, there are many books, videos and guides on the subject of bondage or Shibari. You can look at everything on the Internet, read up on it and then try it out. Just like in a cooking class or dance class, you learn faster and of course better if you are shown it correctly! You can ask your questions straight away, get an answer straight away and there are tips and tricks on top of that!

Now many of you will wonder:

One of the most important points, no even the most important point, is safety!

Why then security? I just want to tie up my partner!

Now that our body is very sensitive to external influences, everyone who binds should know exactly what he is doing. It already starts with the right knots, which should not come undone or tighten inadvertently. It continues with the rope guide. How can the ropes run so as not to accidentally injure the person opposite? Where do you have to pay attention to nerves and blood vessels? What about the numerous joints? These questions and of course more should be answered at a workshop!

The supreme discipline and often the highlight of every bondage session is the so-called suspension (hanging bondage), in which the tied person only hangs freely on ropes! Everyone can imagine what strain this is for our body and how great the possible dangers are! I really don't want to put anyone off, because a suspension bondage is a great experience that everyone who likes to be tied up should experience. However, only get involved in a suspension if you are sure that the other person knows exactly what he is doing! And you dear captivating ones, you are always aware that a shackled person completely surrenders himself and you alone have the full responsibility!

Now, even with the best preparation and knowledge, something can go wrong. Even in such a case - which of course nobody wants - you should always be prepared so that you can react as quickly as possible.

When it comes to security, I think we all realized that a workshop really makes sense. After all, bondage should be fun and not end with a trip to the doctor!

Furthermore, in a beginners workshop you should also have the opportunity to deal with the different types of rope and their advantages and disadvantages in order to get an insight into which ropes you will buy yourself later!

After the whole speech and the novel about safety, I don't want to put you off working with the ropes in any way!

(On the contrary, otherwise I would have never created the page)

I generally offer workshops for couples or for two people, because you can learn much faster and better than with so-called group workshops with ten people or more!
