Jute S-Edition

Our S-Edition jute ropes for bondage and shibari are made specifically for Bavarian-Bondage and finished by hand. The natural ropes are ready for bondage and available in 5 and 6 mm as individual ropes and sets.

The letter S stands for the left-handed rope lay. Unlike the usual right-handed Z-lay ropes, S-Edition ropes are left-handed. In the Double Ply construction two threads are twisted together at a time. High-quality yarn and a tight, firm lay define the character of this rope range.

The ropes feel pleasant and shed little fibre. Their firm construction may take some getting used to at first; they become softer with use. The tight lay makes them comparatively slim, so they match the stated diameter fairly closely.
