Description
Bondage ring in walnut wood
The classic, simple bondage ring is made of walnut wood and has an integrated 10 × 10 mm steel core. The wood is finely sanded and finished with a thin coat of wood oil. Walnut wood has a dark colour.
Note: Wood is a sturdy material, but its surface cannot be compared with metal. Under heavy strain from the ropes, slight notches may form in the wood, especially during suspension bondage and lift-ups. These notches are harmless: the continuous steel core prevents the ring from breaking through.

Safety and usage instructions for wooden bondage rings with a steel core
This wooden bondage ring with an integrated steel core is intended for bondage use by adults with appropriate knowledge.
- Before each use, inspect the ring for cracks, splinters, chipped areas, sharp edges, deformation and any other changes in the material. Assess any irregularities in terms of their nature, extent and potential effects on safe use. If there is any doubt about safe use, stop using the ring.
- Pressure from ropes may cause slight, superficial indentations or grooves in the wood. These alone are not a reason to take the ring out of service. Inspect the contact surfaces for rough areas, splinters or sharp edges that could damage ropes.
- Use only with suitable ropes, connectors and secure anchor points.
- Avoid jerking, impact and uncontrolled loads.
- Suspension bondage involves significant risks of injury and requires appropriate experience and safety knowledge. The load test described below does not constitute general approval for this use. It must be possible at all times to immediately remove the load from and release the restrained person.
- Never leave bound or suspended persons unattended.
- Do not use as climbing equipment, fall protection or lifting equipment.
- Protect from prolonged exposure to moisture and intense heat. Do not soak. Clean with a slightly damp cloth and allow to dry afterwards.
- Do not drill holes or make structural modifications yourself.
Note on load-bearing capacity
Our wooden bondage rings have a continuous, one-piece steel core with no welded joint. Wood is a natural material whose properties may vary depending on the type of wood, grain and moisture content.
In a load test we carried out ourselves, one ring was subjected to a load for several minutes. No visible changes were found afterwards. However, this single test does not allow a generally applicable permissible load or breaking load to be established for all rings.
We therefore do not specify a load rating in kilograms or kilonewtons that is supported by sufficient evidence. The absence of such figures must not be taken to imply any particular safe load-bearing capacity.
