Octagonal bondage ring in cherry wood

Round on the inside and octagonal on the outside: this bondage ring is made of cherry wood and has a 10 × 10 mm steel core. The wood is finely sanded and finished with a thin coat of wood oil. Cherry wood has a reddish colour. The shade may be lighter or darker depending on the tree trunk.

Note: Wood is a sturdy material, but its surface cannot be compared with metal. Under heavy strain from the ropes, slight notches may form in the wood, especially during suspension bondage and lift-ups. These notches are harmless: the continuous steel core prevents the ring from breaking through.
