St Andrew's cross bondage ring in oak wood

The ring is made of oak wood and has a 10 × 10 mm steel core. The wood is finely sanded and finished with a thin coat of wood oil. Compared with triskele rings, the ropes are easier to position. Its two separate centres help the ring hang straight, while a triskele ring can twist more quickly.

Note: Wood is a sturdy material, but its surface cannot be compared with metal. Under heavy strain from the ropes, slight notches may form in the wood, especially during suspension bondage and lift-ups. These notches are harmless: the continuous steel core prevents the ring from breaking through.
