The devil shape offers several ways to fasten individual ropes separately. The ring is made of pear wood and has a continuous 10 × 10 mm steel core.

Note: Wood is a sturdy material, but its surface cannot be compared with metal. Under heavy strain from the ropes, slight notches may form in the wood, especially during suspension bondage and lift-ups. These notches are harmless: the continuous steel core prevents the ring from breaking through.
