Standard jute ropes

Our Standard jute ropes for bondage and shibari are available in 5 mm and 6 mm as individual ropes and sets. These undyed natural-fibre ropes are made by a German rope manufacturer. They are round and evenly made, with a moderately firm twist, and feel pleasant against the skin.

Standard jute is an affordable choice for beginners and anyone who prefers a rope with a normal degree of firmness. Its faint natural smell diminishes over time. The stated diameters are those provided by the rope manufacturer.

Both diameters are available in Klassik and Exklusiv: Klassik with an overhand knot, Exklusiv with a compact Trisken knot. The rope itself remains the same. Find out more in the guide Klassik or Exklusiv – the differences.
